New Strategic Partnership to Advance Food, Nutrition, and Health

We are excited to announce a new strategic partnership with the NNEdPro Global Institute for Food, Nutrition and Health to strengthen global efforts in food systems, nutrition education, and health promotion.

Based in Cambridge, UK, the NNEdPro Global Institute is an award-winning think tank and international centre of excellence for research, training, and advisory services. Operating across six continents, NNEdPro reduces nutrition-related inequalities and enhances health outcomes through education, evidence synthesis, and scalable interventions.

“We are delighted to join forces with PAN, who have been championing planned sensitive nutrition education for medical and healthcare professionals, along with the EAT Forum, in the wake of EAT Lancet 2.0. This work synergises with the last two decades of our global efforts in generating research, publications, and impacting education and practice in medical nutrition globally. We are stronger together as we work towards the 2030 goals,” says Prof Sumantra Ray, Founding Chair, Chief Scientist and Executive Director of the NNEdPro Global Institute.

Through this collaboration, PAN and NNEdPro will leverage their complementary strengths to drive impact in nutrition education, policy, sustainable food systems, and the broader reach of culinary medicine, including expanding access to teaching kitchens as part of this movement. Together, we share a vision of fostering healthier societies while addressing the urgent challenges of climate change, food insecurity, and inequity.

“At a time when NGOs must work together more closely to maximise impact, we are delighted to launch this partnership with the NNEdPro Global Institute. Their outstanding reputation, knowledge, and experience complement PAN’s mission to advance nutrition in healthcare and medical education. Together, we will strengthen global synergies and build a healthier and more sustainable world,” says Kerstin Plehwe, President & CEO of PAN International.
